On March 8, members of VFW Post 4190 and its Auxiliary came together for a day of hard work, camaraderie, and community service during the Post’s Chicken Stew Fundraiser. Volunteers gathered early to prepare and cook a total of 90 gallons of homemade chicken stew, which was sold to members of the local community to support Post programs and veteran initiatives.
Throughout the day, members worked side by side preparing ingredients, stirring large pots of stew, serving customers, and welcoming visitors to the Post. The event provided more than just a fundraising opportunity—it strengthened the sense of fellowship among Post and Auxiliary members while showcasing their shared commitment to supporting veterans and community programs.
The chicken stew sale was well received, with many community members stopping by to purchase stew and show their support for the Post. Events like this highlight the important role VFW Post 4190 plays in bringing veterans, families, and neighbors together while raising funds for future activities, charitable efforts, and veteran support services.
VFW Post 4190 extends its sincere appreciation to all volunteers and community members who helped make the event a success. Through teamwork and dedication, the Post continues its mission of service to veterans, their families, and the community.
